The Four Personality Types

Different Personality Types

When you look at people, there are typically four different types and we can call them STAR. The challenge with most of us is, most of us only view the world through our lens, because we do have a personality type. Let us go through the four different personality types.

Different Personality Types

S stands for Structure. Now structured people are extremely organized, they are about systems, they like to work with people who have won before, so they are not coming from a place they are saying and they don't have credibility. You can work with an S, let just say you sit with an S in a car, you are driving and they are at the passenger side and this is what they typically do. They will typically look at your car and see stains of water bottle there, see your window is not clean your car is not clean. In their mind, they don't think you are sufficient, efficient enough, because you are not at their level of being organized. S is typically people who look at everybody and say, they can't be as good as me and nobody can do it as good as me.

T stands for Technical. A technical person is one who is very analytical, they want to know everything about the product you might be selling. They look at you to see if you understand the concepts, are you very competent on what you are talking about, if you are not you will lose them. These are the Ts.

A are the people who are action oriented, these are the guys who are typically loud life at the party, you put them somewhere, they will network with everybody, they will talk to people, very competitive, they love sports, their energy typically is out there and sometimes & people rub people a wrong way, that is A.

R stands for relationship. They love listening they love hugging, they love kisses, they love gifts, they love being nice to them, they are great with relationships. Typically an R is very good in building relationship with somebody in your company that they are dealing with.

But understanding these four personalities is challenging, like if you are an S, you need to know who you annoy and you need know how to communicate with those people. If you are an R, you need to know your weaknesses and your strengths because the reality is if you look at all four,

The Four Personality Types
S thinks nobody can be as good as them, unless there is another S.

So, when running a business, let's just say you are one of them and you are not strong on the R side, you can't necessarily go and become very good as an R. You can simply go and hire somebody who is an R. If you are not technical, you can hire a technical person. If you are not very action oriented, you can just go hire somebody who is very competitive on the sale side to do very well. Regardless, a very strong company or a very strong team is typically somebody who has all of these personalities together, which will take the company or business to the next level.
